Immaculate Heart Sisters of Africa is a 501(c)3 California Non-Profit Corporation. The purpose of this organization in the United States (US) is to provide religious-related services in holistic approach. The corporation intends to improve people’s lives spiritually, physically, and economically within the framework of the Catholic Church; particularly by creating a bridge of understanding and cooperation between people in the United States of America and Tanzania.
The Corporation helps to facilitate opportunities for the Immaculate Heart Sisters of Africa to do ministries in the United States and create opportunities for people of the U.S. to better connect with the people of Tanzania through them. In the U.S., the Sisters provide services according to the needs of the society and the local church. The Corporation provides opportunities for the people of the U.S. to participate in the Sisters’ ministry in Tanzania in the areas of education, health care, clean water, economic development and ministries to children (disabled, homeless, trafficked, and orphans), women, disabled adults, and disadvantaged persons, among others.
